All About K.S Operations

K.S Operations was birthed out of the field. Kirk Samuels founded the company in 2019, in the middle of his years as an organizer in South Los Angeles, because he wanted to stay hands-on with his people: the canvassers, the block captains, the neighbors who decide elections one door at a time. That has not changed. He still measures success the only way he ever has, by the condition of his community. When his community does good, he does good.

His record was earned under the banners he served. As Director of Civic Engagement at Community Coalition, he ran campaigns across South Los Angeles, helped lead the 2020 Census count in one of the hardest-to-count regions in the country, convened the People's Bloc Redistricting Alliance of 34 organizations, contacted more than 200,000 voters, and trained more than 450 outreach workers. Those victories belong to the organizations and coalitions he served, and the experience belongs to him. It is why he can look a client in the eye and honestly say: this is what I am capable of, and here is the proof.

From 2022 to 2024 Kirk served as District Director for California State Senate District 28, carrying community priorities from Los Angeles to the Capitol to the Governor's desk. Bills shaped by district voices were signed into law, including equal pay protections, support for pregnant and parenting students, and faster record clearing. That chapter sharpened the same skill K.S Operations is built on: listening to a community and turning its voice into results.

K.S Operations pivoted to digital outreach in 2020 when the pandemic shut the doors down, and runs hybrid today, in person and digital, because voters live in both places. In 2024 the company ran the winning field program for Dionne Faulk's Inglewood City Council District 4 campaign.
