Kirk Samuels is a community organizer and the founder of K.S Operations. He has led more than 25 campaigns and contacted over 200,000 Black and Latino voters across South Los Angeles. Before founding K.S Operations, Kirk served as District Director for California State Senate District 28, where he staffed a three-bill package signed into law in October 2023: SB 497 (the Equal Pay and Anti-Retaliation Act), SB 521 (protections for pregnant and parenting students), and SB 749 (records clearing efficiency). Before the Senate, he directed civic engagement at Community Coalition in South Los Angeles. Kirk convened and led the People's Bloc, a 34-organization redistricting coalition, and has led county-wide alliances for fair census counts and equitable maps. As Board Secretary of the Black Los Angeles Young Democrats (2021-22), he helped raise approximately $70,000. He is a funding board member with the Liberty Hill Foundation's Bold Vision initiative and an alum of the African American Board Leadership Institute, Class 22. In the 2024 general election, K.S Operations led field outreach for the successful campaign of Dionne Faulk for Inglewood City Council, District 4.
